Deskripsi Lowongan

Placement: Banda Aceh.

Contract: 1 year (and can be extended every year).

Start of work: November 1, 2024.

Job Description

• Develop, coordinate, and implement the vision, mission, and strategies of the Program Management Unit that is aligned with the Sustainable Palm-Oil Development of Aceh .
• Provide direction and strategic measures for the Implementation Team to achieve its goals and objectives.
• Allocate and manage the available resources (financial, human resources, and materials) to ensure the smooth implementation of the PMU activities.
• Coordinate and manage all activities and program within the scope of PMU Implementation Team.
• Coordinate and supervise monthly reports on the progress, achievements, and challenges from the activities of the PMU implementation Team.
• Conduct bi-annual evaluations on the performance, progress, and challenges faced by the PMU Implementation Team, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure the accountability and transparency of PMU Implementation Team activities and resource management, which will be reported to the PMU Technical Commission.

Qualification Criteria

1. Education:

• Minimum master’s degree (S2) in related fields, such as Management, Agronomy, Forestry, Environmental Science, etc.

2. Work Experience:

• At least 5 years of working experience in program or project management, with a focus on natural resource management, and commodity, sustainable development, or agribusiness sectors.
• Experience in strategic planning, team management, and resource allocation.
• Experience in programs related to sustainable palm oil or environmental management would be a plus.
• Experience in working with various stakeholders, including government, NGOs, and the private sector, among others.

3. Skills and Competencies:

• Strong managerial skills, including the ability to lead, direct and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication skills, orally and in writing, in Indonesian and English. (Proficiency in Acehnese is a plus)
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills to handle operational and strategic challenges.
• Ability to manage resources (modalities) efficiently and effectively.
• Skills in preparing comprehensive reports and conveying information effectively to stakeholders.
• Understand the concepts of supply chain systems and traceability; MERL; land and farmer legality; sustainable production improvement; HCV/HCS protection and social inclusion; investment and financing.

4. Personality and Work Attitude:

• Having an honorable character, high integrity, high loyalty, transparent, committed to accountability and able to make decisions appropriately and efficiently.
• Uphold the values of Islamic law, culture, and local wisdom in Aceh.
• Able to work independently and in teams, with a collaborative and cooperative attitude.

5. Additional Knowledge:

• Knowledge of regulations, policies, environmental and social issues related to palm oil management and sustainability in Indonesia, especially in Aceh.
